This year Street Racing Online decided we should do something cool for the community.  We decided that it would be nice to have a mini car show and have a Toys for Tots charity event as well.  Thanks to some members of the Bay Area Neon Club who helped us get a big parking lot at one of their work places, and for the people who helped make this event happen.  The weather could not have been more perfect.

     Since the Toys For Tots foundation is run by the U.S. Marines, we had two Marines show up to our event with a big truck.  After talking with one of the Marines, he told me that when he was a kid, the Marines came to his community and passed out gifts to his family.  As he was telling me this, he started getting a little teary eyed.  After seeing this, I really realized that all of us who contributed today have truly done a good deed.  What we did today is definitely going to have a great impact on a child that is less fortunate to get such a good gift otherwise.

     According to the Marines, Our turn out for Toys was "EXCELLENT".  They said that we even beat out corporate giants such as Microsoft and Cisco combined.  Imagine that, us car enthusiasts have more heart for our community than these corporations together.

     We had a really good turnout, a lot of nice cars showed up, as well as motorcycles.  Since we really wanted to thank everyone for coming out and donating a toy, we decided to have our famous Shirt Toss.  It was pretty fun throwing out shirts, the crowd was getting pretty wild :).  We definitely would like to thank everyone for coming out and having a good time.  KNTV even showed up to film a little of what we had going on.
