Got a question to the sg.. This is my first post so i hope there is some good advice. Long story short i was puller over and with of course questioning about if i was buying drugs etc, the officer wrote me a ticket. Just so you know im very new to this area and dont know where much of anything is LA county (west covina). He wrote me a ticket 21651 driving over divider. There was solid yellow lines on the left of me and i was going to pull into this gas station but relized my car wouldnt make it up the embankment so i did a u-turn over the yellow lines. Didnt bother traffic at all which in my case doesnt matter, but i thought you only couldnt do u-turns in front of a firehouse or if its indicated on a sign. So im very lost and confused and not sure what to do. A few years back i was reckless and didnt care much and drove like an idiot but now i drive very subtle and since due to my record that i cause myself as i was younger i just cant afford this ticket on my record. so my question to you is do you have any advice on how i can possibly fight this, and also i tried calling the court many times and could not get through, and i need to know how much this violation will cost if i cant fight it?
