Smile How to properly take Db reading for exhaust?!
Hello, I've read a few different responses about how to accurately measure the dba level for an exhaust. I've also searched the Bereau of Automotive Repair's (BAR) website to know avail, so I'm posting here since this looks like a decent site from what I've read thus far. I got an exhaust put in earlier today and purchased a Db reader from the local radio shack, but cannot find how to properly measure the sound emitted from my exhaust, any help would be greatly appreaciated. BTW I'm located in San Diego California if that makes any difference.
