complicated issue...
Hey sgt, here is a little pickle I find myself in......
I was stopped by the CHP back in 00/01 time frame. The officer cited me for lapsed reg, no proof of insurance and driving on an expired lisence. I was off to boot camp in two weeks at the time (I had my enlistment contract on me) and the officer stated he would "give me a break"...I never receive any notice ticket, etc.
I am renewing my insurance and bang, find out I have a FTA on the ticket I never got...
The car in question has since been sold, my license is current, and (obviously) my insurance is current.
How should I handle this? |
