Freeway on-ramp
What's the rule for entering the freeway on-ramps that have 2 lanes with those green and red lights? I mean like when i stop at a red light and it turns green, some car on the left of me (which was probably 2 lengths behind me) comes blaring through the green. Does he have to stop? I just feel that most of the time, I am stopping at the red to let everyone else go through (without ever stopping the whole way on the ramp). Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I just want to be safe than to be sorry.
