Sgt Grant, Need your help in a very confusing situation
Sgt Grant, I need your advice on a speeding ticket matter. Last september 2003 I received a speeding ticket from a SJPD officer. I had recently purchased a bike roughly about two weeks before and had only been riding for about a week. To make a long story short I completely forgot about the ticket since I put my bike away for the winter and i was dealing with the stress of taking full time classes and working at the same time. I didnt receive anything in the mail to remind me of the ticket. Now that its time to get back into riding i cleaned out my bike and found the ticket in my storage compartment. What do you recommend I do? I want to take care of this ASAP!
Also the DMV sent me the title back saying the it was missing a signature from the party that I bought it from. Ironically, the previous owner is a SJPD officer. He gave me his email adress and name but he hasnt responded to my request to meet him to sign the title. Is this the reason why I didnt get anything in the mail regarding the ticket?
Can you give me advice on the course i should take and the fastest way to do it. Any input is apreciated. |
