Wreckless Driving (23103A) HELP!!!!
Wife has a court date next week and I need help... I am not familiar with Ca. courts, but in Bakersfield, she was cited for Wreck less driving for speeding, following too closely, and unsafe lane changes. Any advice on how to approach this? Attorneys want $750 with no guarantee that they can get it reduced. Anyway, the CHP was heading east, we were going west each, he passed us, I saw him hit his brakes, and told my wife to exit the freeway. She changed lanes from 3 to 2 to 1 then exited. He reached us at the bottom of the off ramp and lighted us. He was angry because we tried to lose him, but he didn’t write that up. Should we plead guilty and pay the fine or fight it and try to get it reduced? Any advice? Any idea on cost/penalties? Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks -Nick |
