First of all like to say wassup...now to the story (pardon the horrible writing style and grammar etc too lazy to care at the moment)

Alright so im coming home in my 05 Saab 9-3 after a day with a couple of friends at around 6:00, I decide taking the highway would be a bit faster than city roads so I take the next exit onto 270. Traffic is mediocre, batches of open road here and there. Of course as im sure all of us have experienced comes along a reckless driver doing probably about 80-85 in medium traffic; now at this point im on the HOV lane and this SOB pulls up right behind me and tails me.

Im doing about 75 keeping up with the regular flow of traffic nicely relaxed; now I don’t know about u guys but when this relaxation is disturbed by some reckless driver I get pretty pissed. This guy continue to tail be for about 2 min expecting me to speed up, at this point the guy really get on my nerve and i've decided not to let my speedometer go 1mm above 75 mph so I flip on cruise control and just let the car roll. I look at my rear view and realize he is driving a 1997 Cadillac STS. Seeing im as stubborn as a mule the guys find a hairpin gap between two cars on the right lane swerves in and starts tailing the ford focus next to me on the right lane forcing him to go faster (focus probably reacted better than I did).

As the STS slowly edges past me he looks over and gives me a nasty look as if I was doing something wrong! Now the situation has reached defcon 1 and I am determined to make this guys life hell. (Not a responsible decision on my part) as the focus moves forward there is a gap in front of me which the STS was aiming to take. So as any other responsible driver would do I sped up and blocked him in his lane. This guys gets pissed I could see him yelling through the tinted windows, and for me this situation has just gotten entertaining. The guy pulls back onto my lane and starts tailing me again.

Traffic clears up in front of us so I decide ill pull him into a run, cruising at about 2x1000 rpm I downshift and blast of, he sees what’s going on and starts chasing me, pulling over to the right lane we are neck and neck my car is stock and he obviously has the faster car so he starts pulling ahead of me , I feel my low pressure turbo kicking in and I get a desired boost and we are neck and neck again but not for to long as he pulls up ahead of me. But how then could I title this thread hov kill? Well 2 min after we initiate the run his rear doors are at my head lights and he continuing to pull forward, but traffic is coming up on us and the whole point of the competition thus far is to stay in front of the other.

Now under a strictly drag race im pretty sure he would of won but I have something he doesn’t brains and maneuverability. He pulls over to the farthest right lane which is clear and lurches forward, while I stay on the HOV which is filling up with traffic, right now we both are probably doing about 90. He starts swerving in and out of lanes and I decide to stay on the hov moving in and out few times. He gets about 4 cars in front of me and gets trapped in traffic I on the other hand was comfortable in my HOV which was moving faster in relation to the other lanes.

The HOV unlike the other lanes stays usually stable while the other lanes move sporadically, one minute fast then the second min to a slow lurch. As I ease up on him I purposely slow down so im even with him, slowly look over and give him a menacing smile, then down shift and blast off past him, while he’s stuck in the other lanes, I could see him cursing and slamming his wheel as I blasted past him thusly the HOV kill.

Needless to say it was a fun drive.
