A friend of mine is buyin my cbr so I've been doing a little looking around at some newer bikes. The only one I've yet to ride is this 2005 Kawi 636 with a yosh slip on. I've liked the looks these things since they came out and finally got to ride it. It's tough to compare a fuel injected to my prehistoric carburated bike, but in a word...wow. The thing feels 150lbs lighter and is way more responsive. I'm seriously considering buying this bike. I have however, always loved the R6 and still have not had any seat time on one.
I'd like any input on the 636 and if this is a smart way to go. The bike fit me nicely and felt pretty comfy. In comparison to the R6, gixxer 750/600, and cbrr does the 636 hang with em in all areas?
Tbkonwso how happy are you with yours? I like the fact that I don't see nearly as many on the roads, but is there a reason for this?
