I Finally Took The Rider's Safety Course...
Yeah,
For those that I PMed in the past about these newbie questions thanks for all of your help (especially The Rob & Wolf). I didn't end up taking the Black Hawk schooling that I heard about from some other fellow members on here due to lack of information. I just wanted to get all of this done before you know the holidays coming up in the following months.
I have to admit that I had a blast doing the course last weekend because the weather was just great. It wasn't too hot & nor did it rain at all for us. Plus the instructors were pretty cool & everybody in my group passed. It's too bad that I could have done this earlier because if I would have made up my mind already on the timing...I would have only had to pay $150 instead of $198, but better to do it late than never. The only problem now is that I won't be able to buy a bike until I can get some money saved up so most likely I will get my Kawasaki Ninja (still deciding on what exact model that I want, but it won't be more than 700ccs...the highest powered one that I like was the ZX-6R).
I pretty much have my eyes on the 500R because the fact that it's about $5,000 for a brand new one & it's not too fancy for...I'd just want my first bike to be simple & generic you know. Other styles that have been running through my mind are these ones, but apparently they aren't available in a 2005 models: ZZR600 (03-04), 600R (90-97), ZX-6 (1990-2002), or a 500 (94-96).
I always consider myself a  in the bike scene (I will probably remain at this status until I actually own a bike & been riding for a least a few years) so I'm going to need all of the help that I can get before it's too late guys. Just to let you all know that for the time being I ride here & there with my friend's old Honda bike when he has time to let me use it, but I haven't really asked him lately because I'm just going to wait until I get my official license in the mail so for now I just stict to my permit strictions...basically no night time driving nor freeways/highways.
P.S. I don't want to ever become a Fr0nG man...I'd rather die then to be considered on fRoNg status you know.
