well heres an good times story ive got to share. My family consits of 4 brothers and my dad and mom . My dad is an avid hot rodder and always works on his camaros. hes owned all kinds of chevys from a 62 impala with a 327 and a three speed with side pipes to a 70 split bumper camaro with a 350 and a four speed . Even till this day he still hot rods and has moved up in cars from a 79 z 28 to a few irocs . He likes the tuneport injection (thinks its cool).

Anywayz the reason i mention him is cause hes the reason this story is possible . See in high school i had a 87 iroc z that i had been crusing and when i graduated wrecked. But my little bro had gotten one when he became a senior which was the year after i did ( that he crashed into a 18 wheeler sadly) but he lived and is fine.

But man what a story this is ....... Me and my bro had worked at the local jack in the crack and where both going to work but took our own cars. For reasons of insanity of course . Mine was white then and his was black . we happened to be crusing down a street called protranco that was known for its 1/2 mile straightaway and we knew that by heart . He had been bragging that his 87 iroc could spank mine but i knew better his car was a 305 and mine was a 350 that came as a christmas gift to my self. well he decided to play cat and mouse our favorite game and ended up on protranco . we both ended up at the stop light and staged up . when the light turned green he gunned it and spun his tires a bit i dropped my roc into low gear and spun for at least 50 ft . but dam we both launched hard. So here we are flying down this road we where about 1/2 way down the road when we both where going about 115 when i finally punched it and spanked his car hard i topped out at 145 and he was about 3 car lengths behind me . I figured i beat him long enough so i let off. Till this day he says he was about to pass me but i changed lanes in front of him and he still didnt catch up . loser...
