I went out to get a mcflurry, had a sweet craving. On my way back I took the long way because it was a boring weekend and I wanted to see what was out. I went down the road and lo and behold,a wrx and an eclipse gts were stopped at the stoplight, wrx in the right lane, middle lane clear, gts in the left lane. When I pull up in the middle lane they are already revving on eachother so as I come to a stop at the red, I exchange greetings. I start loading the clutch, hold it steady at 5500. Over the raspiness of my motor I hear a BOV on my right side and a BOV on my left side...Psssft Psssft. The light turns green and I launch, keep pressure on the clutch to control traction loss and I am off. Before either of these two turbocharged jackasses could get off the line I had already gotten a car length on them and was revving through second like a bastard. I keep my foot on the accerarator...7900 RPM SHIFT....6200 ropm VTEC engage 7900 rpm SHIFT.. they never caught up, I let my MPH get to 90 and then backed off. The wrx took a turn and bounced the gts driver and I both pulled over and chopped it up for a time. Good fun and good vibes.
