snake fight
We (my girl and I) were headed down to santa cruz for a little weekend getaway. I had just gotten the cobra back from the shop after some much needed maintenance so I was feeling her out.
Up rolls a 96-98 Cobra couple with the same shade of paint as me and a cooling looking dude in dark shades to match.  We have a little traffic in front of us so all we can do is rev it up and display the bite in our cars.
From what I heard, he had a centrifugal supercharger on his. As we merge onto 17 and the twisties start, the traffic lightens up and we are able to accelerate and enjoy the ride. We pace each other, then he slingshots by me in a turn and I return the favor. It was a beautiful sight seeing 2 cobras go at it back and forth.
In the end we both parted ways with grins on our faces
