Aloha, saw your forums on google so I signed up.

I live in Hawaii and just got a 1991 subaru Legacy L (No turbo), 47k miles and was pampered... I think everything is in good shape.

The car seems average at acceleration when starting but at least to my imagination seems to really take off at the third or fourth gear (auto), engine comes really loud and starts pounding off. I never got to fully explore its capabilities though as I was just testing in the mall parking lot and had to stop after gassing to 45 mph or so. I'm gonna try to take a 0-60 reading when I get the chance

Also, the car came with a 12" 125 watt bazooka and 2 5 1/2" door alpines... as far as I can tell there isn't an amp, although the sounds are very good. would you recommend an amp, any in particular?

(My friend checked it out, he has a dodge and a 12" kicker with capacitators and all kine stuff, he recommended an amp but never really mentioned specifics)

I heard Boxer engines were really cool and sporty, any ways to improve and mod car performance for this model?
