Just in case you werent aware, PTE has come out with a new line of Ball-Bearing turbos based on thier SC series. I just ordered up one based on the SC61 with a T4 flange to try out up here in the clouds. I also have the SC61 with a T3 housing, and have spool data for a SCM61 as well. None of these are a "direct comparison" but its interesting stuff to me anyway. My fear is that the "Stage 5" turbine the BB turbo uses might be a little on the small side(PTE says it is only good for 630-650flywheel hp) and if thats the case I will simply drop a T3 housing on it and use it on a DSM or similar.

The thig that is cool about this is that it is BB and shoud allow the use of these larger T3/4 hybrids on smaller engines without the spoolup penalty we currently deal with, and could be a very reasonable option to the current GT series.

i wish i had money for a ceramic ball bearing turbo=( right now im running a .60/.63 t3 on my volvo, and its a bitch to spool. luckly i have my timing retarded down low so it spools a lil quicker.

dude these turbos are relatively cheap- like hundreds less than the GT-series
