The other night I picked up a '94 Formula Firebird, white with a 6spd tranny. 125k miles, but it was a good deal. It's got some 3" exhaust, and I doubt it's got a cat, cause it's pretty loud but sounds great. It's a mini-fixer-upper... so far I've spent a number of hours on it and it's already 10x better than when I bought it.

So far I've done the following (which all cost a grand total of $0!):
-fix a/c (was just a clogged vacuum line!)
-remove ghetto-rigged audio crap
-fix the reclining seat (found $0.84 worth of change jammed in the gears)
-my boss made speaker plates, just black plastic panels placed over the spots where rear speakers used to exist
-removed the body guards, door guards, black pinstripes
-used a proper GM pos. battery terminal (instead of the bolt that was holding it in)
-wire up a factory radio harness (the orig. was hacked off, my co-worker had a spare)
-fix cig. plug (fell into the dash)
-vacuumed the interior

On the to do list:
-wash and wax
-get reverse lights to work (prob. a fuse, haven't looked yet)
-fix passenger side controls (power window and lock)
-install the speakers I bought for it (already installed a CD player)
-change the spark plugs (ugh)
-change oil, I should really do the other fluids, too
-I need a GM doorlock button
-and a tweeter grill
-replace the fuel filter
-prob. block off the EGR, cause I need to...
-track down the off idle stumble and...
-4500+ rpm break-up

The plan is to drive it around and enjoy it until someone offers me some decent money where I make a profit.
