For Setup, everyone must enter through Gate 1 off Highway 121
Rigs, Exhibitors, & Teams must wait in the Setup Holding Area [referred to as “Competitor Pits” on map] by the Main Grandstands until directed into the Formula D Paddock area by an FD official
Starting Friday, exhibitors and teams will not be allowed inside the venue without the proper credentials

The “Setup Holding Area”:

All teams and exhibitors must await placement in the Setup Holding Area
Please follow signs and/or map to the correct lot location of the Setup Staging Area. The Setup Staging Area location is labeled on the Infineon Raceway online Map as the “Competitor Pits” by the Main Grandstands.
Most non-seeded teams must pit in the setup holding area [“competitor pits”] due to space limitations. Only non-seeded drivers pitting within sponsor rigs may be allowed to be in the Main FD Paddock. After Pre-Qualifying, and only the top 12 qualifying teams will move into the main paddock for the main event day. Drivers must meet with a Formula D official for placement into Main FD Paddock.

4 All Drivers are required to be fully suited at meetings. Meetings will all be held in the Formula D Hospitality Tent unless otherwise noted.

5 Pit Crews must access Track Staging area through the security gate opening at the end of the FD Paddock onto the track, “hot area”. Only those with the proper credentials may access the hot areas.

6 Open Practice means that drivers are allowed as many runs as possible during the given window of time. After each run, drivers will move to the back of the line. If a driver breaks or needs to perform maintenance their race vehicle, they will lose their place in line until they are ready to practice.

Practice will NOT be extended for any drivers who have not had sufficient practice because their vehicle could not run.
Practice will NOT be extended due to crashes, breaks on track, oil spills, etc.

SETUP and TEARDOWN information :

Sponsor and Vendor Setup

Large displays and rigs/tractor/trailers must arrive for setup on Thursday, July 7 th. Arrangements may be made for earlier setup if possible. Large vendors who are not able to arrive by Thursday, July 7 th may forfeit their placement and may not receive optimal placement due to space limitations.
General setup/check-in times are from 12:00pm-5:00pm on Thursday, July 7 th and 9:00am-3:00pm on Friday, July 8 th, unless pre-arranged
NO vendors may enter later than 5:00pm on Thursday unless pre-arranged
Follow signs to vendor check-in; event is being held at Infineon Raceway.
Pick up your company credentials and locate your booth space before entering the Formula D Paddock Area
On the main event day, Saturday, July 9 th,the gates open to public at 10:00am, all displays and display cars must be set up by 9:30am

Sponsor and Vendor Teardown

Teardown will begin after competition is completed, NOT before
NO vehicles (display cars or cargo trucks) maybe moving before the completion of the awards presentations
There will be consequences and fines for those who wish to leave early or moved their rigs/vehicles around the paddock area during the event. Please refer to Participant Advisory #01-05.13.05.
Event is scheduled to end at 7:00pm

Car Show ROLL-IN for the “Need For Speed Formula D Car Show”

Show car judging begins Saturday at 10:00am and will end at 2:00pm.
Teams may not set up tents, chairs, etc. in aisle ways and fire lanes. Everything a Car Show Competitor sets up must be done within their allotted space or spaces.
Car Show Competitors may only park in spaces designated to them by a Formula D official. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the venue.
Arrive early and roll in as teams or groups of cars you want to be placed with. This must be decided on before entering the Car Show line. Car Show line will be a separate line form the Vendor line.
WARNING : Car Show competitors who mix in with the Vendor line or make a mistake by entering the wrong line, will be sent to the back of the Car Show line.

NO cars will be allowed to register on-site unless arrangements have been made with Fred Chang, 949-341-9181 x5, PRIOR to July 1 st.
NO cars will be allowed to enter past 9:00am on Saturday, July 9 th.
