We all die. Life is a fatal condition, so you may as well enjoy it. Organised racing has a very low risk compared to driving on the road, or horse riding, or crossing the road, or going out to clubs or many other things. In reality it's a very safe pastime, percentage wise. But like everything else in life it's not 100% safe. If you love it, do it.
