The one exception to the rule...and the one that can argue your point is rally racing. This is where the traction is so poor anyways, it's better to just drive like a "point and shoot" style. Traction is so shitty that getting power down is hard enough, asking them to give lateral g's is just silly. Better to get the car pointed the direction you want to go, then really give it the whip.
