94-98 stangs are ok...the gt's can be a nice muscle car but you have to build up the engine.honnest i'd buy a 99 gt..but if your asking between a 96 gt auto,or a 97-98 stick..and a 2-3 grand difference..buy the 96 and swap out the tranny..it would be the same..or save yourself the heartache and migrane and buy the 97-98 stick.
