Yes drag takes less skill. If you know how to shift and step on the gas, you can drag. Knowing how to pull an e-brake doesn't mean you can drift.
Unless you are talking about 1000hp drag racers, that's a whole different kind of drag racing.
I may be wrong about drifting being the fastest method around a corner, so can you please enlighten me on what is?
