If the coolant in the overflow tank is boiling, then I'd guess it's probably not your t-stat. Some of these have been mentioned... check your cooling fans for operation, if they aren't coming on, then you'd need to check the fan motors, relays, coolant temp. sensor, etc. Make sure your cooling system doesn't have any air in it either.

Dont make fun, I'm just a counter boy, the other day we had a similar problem with a talon, turned out it was just air in the ps system.
