man its great to play with a car again but i would mind this being a 87 roc with a bad ass motor.. Ive got the idea my thermostat is shot and its resticting flow to the rest of the motor . check that the cooling fans are operating, anyways, replacing the thermo is easy. yank the thermo out, its only a few bucks for the thermostat and gasket plus some coolant. make sure the cooling system is bled, after reinstalling the thermostat, put the heater on full with the fan off, and top off the coolant. dont put the cap on until the fans pop on, thats when you know its bled. if the fans dont pop on, prolly got a problem with em.
