Make sure you're topped off with both PS fluid and coolant, then start taking apart stuff. It seems like your PS system sprung a leak (down on fluid, really noisy) -> belt slipping -> overheating/coolant boiling over because water pump isn't spinning like it should-> not enough coolant even if the belt is working fine because some boiled over.
