No, it doesn't. The only people who can hear it are the ones behind you. I would argue that a loud exhaust is actually MORE dangerous during lane-splitting, because if somebody in a car isn't paying attention and gets startled when they get blasted as you go by, who knows how they'll react?
All loud pipes do are piss off the vast majority of people you share the road with, and those people are the ones who will ultimately decide whether or not you get to ride a motorcycle on public roads in the future.
