Think about it racing in a straight line on the streets is bland compaired to actually drifting on a city street. Clearly most people can take their car and race in a straight line. But there is always going to be a gaggle load of 16 year old kids who take their civic ect and throw parts on it and go race. It takes a different breed of enthusiast to actually set up their car and actually drift. In oklahoma city street racing is as big as its ever been. On the other hand there is a Group of people who go out and drift on saturday nights while everyone is lining up and racing in a striaght line. The more people that come along and go sliding around in a parking lot or a street ect. i see more people going out and street racing.
