Hi Sgt Grant,

I have a car that I bought and registered in Minnesota. I need to drive to my parents house in California. The problem- the car is definitely not compliant with exhaust and othe engine modifications for California. It is legal for Minnesota.

If I get pulled over, for whatever reason, can I be hit with emission violations or any other California specific law even though my car has a valid Minnesota sticker?
