The superbowl started at 3:30pm today and I had woken up early for a Sunday. I decided to go out for a cruise, killing some time before the game and the food.

It was a beautiful day so I thought it would be great running the car up the 13 highway that goes from Hayward to Walnut Creek. As im enjoying some music and smelling the fresh air, a beautiful black M3 Conv merges onto the freeway.

As he merges over, he gives me a look and nods his head. As he pulls up ahead of me, he guns it trying to show me what his car can do thru the slight turns in the highway.

Always up for a challenge, I decide to tail him and see if I can keep up with him. The IRS in the Cobra is supposed to be there for road racing...lets see if its any good.

Shifting down to third gear, boosting up to 14lbs as my exhaust is singing. At about 100mph, I have caught up to him and am getting ready for an opportunity to pass him by. The road straightens up for a bit and I decide to gun it past him. Around 120mph I overtake him and stick the pedal to the floor until around 140mph.

At this point he has given up and slowed down to around 70mph. I shut her down to legal speeds and wait for my heart to catch up to me. Oooohh what a rush!
