I'm willing to wait until the investigation is complete before making any conclusions. What you hear, and what happens, occasionally doesn't jive. I've had more than a few people yell "I'm sorry" or similarly cooperative sounding phrases while at the same time fighting fiercely and resisting arrest. The person shot may also have made the mistake of reaching into their waistband or clothing rapidly. On the other hand, the officer may have made a mistake. We'll just have to wait and see. Rarely to you get the entire story from the media, nor is it always accurate.
