Actually that's a good point SgtGrant. A stock exhaust can be rated under 95dB, but if it has a hole in it, and was over 95dB, it would obviously be illegal.
Try putting it back to stock, and going to court saying so. Still a crap shoot, but worst case is the judge makes you pay the fine and you waste your time.. so it's up to you
