Ok, coming from someone who knows a little about the s/c 3.8 the L67 never came with a manual tranny. As a matter of fact, a lot of the GP guys are throwing the 5 speed feiro tranny in their car because they want a manual tranny. I know the new FWD 6-Speed Manual Tranny from the new G6 GTP will work on the L67, so that might be an option. Check out clubgp.com lots of feiro guys on there. L67swap.com is also a good site.

Also do you plan on keeping the L67 stock or modding it? These motors respond very well to mods. Whats also really common on these motors are turbos, everyone is going turbo right now. Grand Nationals prove how good these buick 3.8's respond to turbos, and being the L67 is way stronger and more efficient then the GN's 3.8 turbos are a really good choice for these cars.

But if you don't want to go hardcore on modding, a simple pulley swap, tune, and basic bolt ons should be good for solid 11's in a feiro if you can hook up.

PM me and I will hook you up with an email to a guy who owns a 3800 junk yard and you can get tons of parts for alot cheaper then other places.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I know alot about the L67, but not so much about swapping them into a feiro, but I will try my best to answer them.
