If you like the car and it makes you happy go for it. Just make sure you judge the car from a non-biased position. Never "buy" the car before you even look at if ya know what i mean. Other than that, your choice and all up to you.
Just from my expierience, unless it was beat to death, you won't have too many problems with it assuming you don't beat the crap outta it either.
