Hey Guys,
Just had a trial today and the assistant DA said I should prolly get a lawyer to represent me. In April I was late for my girlfriend's Prom and I was in my dad's 2000 Red Crovette Coupe. Anyway, a Cop on his way home from work was following me and I did 3 unsafe lane changes and also got a ticket for no front plate. I already had 5 points on my lisence, and this would put me up to 14, but I just took defensive driving so if they all got charged I'd have 10 points. That sux. Anyway, my question is can a Cop follow me and watch me do all these horendous crimes and keep giving me tickets for them? I know he can't in a marked car, but he was on his way home in his truch and must have figured he'd get his quota in (April 27th was the date)
Anyway, I'm hoping Officer Hoyt might help me out here, cuz I don't think the Cop is gonna help me out. I've got til July 24 to figure this all out. Any advice would be helpful, because I was looking for a insurance quote from Geico in Miami and they won't even touch me!! So, I'd kinda like to have a couple of these dropped.
