Okay, what is this guy smoking? If its exactly the same car with the only difference being in horsepower, the higher horsepower car will win (assuming the driving is exactly the same). Maybe if he said that the supercharger has the ability to produce more horsepower than the turbo, but I don't think that is true.
If you want to figure out which is better, search for it on the boards. This debate has been rehashed several times. If one was outright better than the other, we'd only be using that one. That's not the case, so I guess its safe to assume that neither are superior to the other, just for different applications and scenarios, one would be more desireable than the other.
