Check the VC again under tha turn lamp or signal part,. I believe it says that the front turn signals can omit a amber, clear, or some color i forget what it was. The rear must omit a amber or red color. It might have changed from the last time i read it but the best bet would be to make some phone calls to find out the exact wording of the VC then take it to court.
