Officer Hoyt is quite correct. Later at night a loud Harley is rather easy to locate. There was a time when there were several "biker" bars in San Jose that didn't appreciate the services of the Police Department. Especially around 2:00 a.m. However, times have changed and you need a significant income to afford a Harley these days. They are still subject to the same noise laws as cars. But, they tend not to draw as much attention making the commute home from a Silicon Valley based business at 5:00 p.m. as a street racer at 3:00 a.m.
